The best time to visit Belize is from late November to mid-April, during the country’s dry season, with warm temperatures, clear skies, and easy access to the country’s top attractions.
Expect showers from June to mid-November and strong winds. If you would rather beat the rush of tourists and you don’t mind packing an umbrella, come during the rainy season in September and October. But keep in mind some establishments shut down during the off-season.
From November to April the continuous sunshine makes outdoor activities more enjoyable. Temperatures hover around 80 degrees Fahrenheit. From December through February, sporadic gusts of wind blowing from the north, known as “northers,” sweep through the coastal areas, particularly the cays. But March and early April welcome idyllic temperatures. The azure waters remain clear, calm, and perfect for scuba diving and snorkeling adventures.
From June to mid-November, hurricanes are known to disrupt this coastal country between June and October, so you’ll want to keep your eye on the weather forecast. The wettest months are August, September, and October. Average daytime temperatures range from the 70s to the 80s.
