Expect showers from June to mid-November and strong winds. If you would rather beat the rush of tourists and you don’t mind packing an umbrella, come during the rainy season in September and October. But keep in mind some establishments shut down during the off-season.
From November to April the continuous sunshine makes outdoor activities more enjoyable. Temperatures hover around 80 degrees Fahrenheit. From December through February, sporadic gusts of wind blowing from the north, known as “northers,” sweep through the coastal areas, particularly the cays. From June to mid-November, hurricanes are known to disrupt this coastal country between June and October, so you’ll want to keep your eye on the weather forecast. The wettest months are August, September, and October. Average daytime temperatures range from the 70s to the 80s.
