Festas Juninas - Brazil

This is a traditional celebration of saints’ days imported from Portugal and adapted to Brazil’s indigenous culture that takes place on specific days in June (e.g. St. Anthony on June 13, St. John on June 24, and St. Peter on June 29).

St John’s Day in Salvador is huge. Olinda and Recife also host major events.
