Trip Highlights

Your ''Taste of Volunteering'' Project

You can assist with repair and maintenance work at a small orphanage that is making a great difference to the lives of young children. The simple addition of a steady diet and a safe environment  has had a dramatic impact on the physical and mental development of the young orphans.

Trip Summary

This trip is packed with phenomenal World Heritage sites, gorgeous scenery and close interaction with the local community, that will touch your heart.

Your adventure begins with a day and a half touring Phnom Penh. There are a wealth of fascinating sites and you will visit pagodas, palaces, museums, markets and the notorious killing fields of the Khmer Rouge regime.

Fly to Siem Reap for more incredible sights, including the remarkable World Heritage Angkor Wat, and your volunteering project. You can help to improve the lives of disadvantaged children. Gain an understanding of the culture and be enriched by your interaction with these remarkable young people. Fulfilled by the experience you bid a sad farewell to your new friends and fly to Vientiane in Laos, and also experience H’mong villages in Muong Khoune and then Muong Kham, Tham Piou cave, and more.

Then board a plane for another exquisite World Heritage site: the mellow and beautiful town of Luang Prabang, where you tour its highlights. You have a free day to explore as you like; you may choose to go mountain biking, hiking, or rock climbing, amongst many options.

We next visit Ban Xang Khong, a village famed for weaving and hand made mulberry paper, before your trip ends.

You may like to extend your stay with treks into northern Laos where you can interact with various ethnic minorities.
