This is probably the most elegant resort in Namibia, and has civilised palm-lined streets and an all-year agreeable climate. It has the feeling of a small German village, which can be strange at first but you’ll soon relax into the charming architecture and laid back atmosphere. There are several monuments of note, mostly relating to World War II for history buffs.
