Trips are fully tailor-made, so pricing varies depending on destination, duration, group size, and accommodation preferences. As a guide, most family trips of 10–14 days start from around $8,000–$10,000 per person including accommodation, guides, and the volunteer project. We'll always be upfront about costs before you commit to anything.
Entirely up to you. Most families choose a "taste" of volunteering — typically 2–4 days of a 10–14 day trip. Others want more. We design the balance based on what's right for your family, including the ages of your children and how much hands-on time you're looking for.
Children as young as 5 can participate in certain projects — particularly wildlife conservation in Costa Rica and Thailand. For building projects, we generally recommend ages 10 and above. We'll always match the project to the ages and abilities of everyone in your group.
Yes — completely. Flights, transfers, accommodation, guides, the volunteer project, meals, and 24/7 on-trip support. You simply show up. All you need to organize is your international flights if you prefer to book those directly.
Every project we work with has been personally vetted by Christopher. We only partner with community-led organizations that have a proven track record. We never work with projects that exist purely for tourism, and we're happy to share details about our vetting process on request.
