Good news for families flying to Europe

If you’ve ever paid extra just to sit next to your own children on a flight, this one’s for you.

The EU has just agreed a long-awaited shake-up of passenger rights. Two things stand out for families: a second piece of cabin baggage will be included in your base fare (no more surprise bag fees at the gate), and airlines will no longer be able to charge parents extra to sit with their young children.

(The fine print: it’s agreed but not expected to take effect until 2027 — so worth knowing for trips you’re planning further ahead.)

Small changes, but they take a little friction out of the part of travel nobody enjoys: the logistics. And that’s rather the point of how we work. The flights, the seats, the bags, the bits that cause stress — we keep an eye on all of it, so you can focus on the part that matters: time together, somewhere remarkable, doing something that counts.
