Grace Motor Yacht
Cruise length: 8 days
Max. Passengers: 18
What could be more romantic than taking a cruise through the Galapagos Islands on the very ship Aristotle Onassis gave to Prince Rainier and Princess Grace of Monaco as a wedding present in 1956? Named after its late and very glamorous owner, the Grace motor vessel is the essence of style and elegance and has retained a regal air.
Built in the roaring 20s, the Grace motor vessel has the feel of a classic “gentleman’s yacht” and epitomizes the Golden Age of sea travel.
This 18-passenger luxury cruiser offers two Master Suites, two Twin Suites and five Premium Staterooms of up to 200 square feet (19 square meters). Each suite and stateroom has a private bathroom, individual air-conditioning controls, a safe, telephone and plenty of storage space for clothing and luggage. All of the private bathrooms are equipped with hair dryers, amenities and ample space for storing toiletries.
The Grace motor vessel features a main salon equipped with a bar, TV/Video system and stereo system. The sundeck has a bar as well as plenty of space for you to enjoy the open air. You can also relax at the front of the boat, where the jacuzzi and sun chairs are located.
You can choose to eat in the interior dining room or outside in the al-fresco dining area. The crew of the Grace motor vessel prides itself on the personalized service, as they offer one of the highest “tour guide-to-client” ratios in the islands.
Specifically organized family departures are a specialty of cruises on board the Grace, given the ship’s child-friendly guides, as well as meals and activities that ensure younger guests get the most out of their Galapagos Island experience.
The most famous, and diverse, collection of wildlife on the planet. This delicate ecosystem has very strictly controlled visitation programmes, but once you arrive, it’s like a natural wonderland. Turtles, sharks, manta rays, sea lions…there is nothing like this collection of islands anywhere else.
