Another of Sir Richard Branson’s exotic outposts, this superb Kasbah in the Atlas Mountains dates back to the early 20th century. Luxury touches give the place a decadent feel, and modern artwork mixes with antiques throughout the property. The hammam is complemented by both an indoor and outdoor heated pool, and the restaurant is excellent.
You can enjoy epic hikes in the Atlas Mountains, and if you get tired, there are back-up donkeys to get you back home.
These picturesque peaks make up four distinct ranges, and are still fairly undiscovered by tourists. The most popular ascent is around Jebel Toubkal, the focal point of the eponymous National Park. The Ait Bou Guemez Valley is also a particularly beautiful spot.
