More of a resort than a hotel, with plush villas spread out over 86 acres of landscaped gardens. Granite floors and dark woods lend a comfortable, classy style to the rooms, which have indoor and outdoor showers. The villas by the pool are more traditionally Vietnamese, and come with personal butlers.
There are over 800 structures in this town, historical landmarks of such importance that the town was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. Formerly a Japanese and Chinese trading post, there are now great markets to discover and a picturesque river to sail down. The local craftsmen are well renowned.
