Ntwala Lodge camp
Located on its own private island about 45 miles (70 kilometres) upriver from the Victoria Falls on the Zambezi River, close to sister-camp Impalila Island Lodge, Ntwala Island Lodge is a beautiful and secluded retreat.
Ntwala Island Lodge has four ultra luxe suites, each with its own plunge pool and spacious viewing deck which extends over the river with its own swing and deck chairs. The bathrooms, appointed with wooden basins, have a sumptuous stone bathtub and an indoor and outdoor shower.
Ntwala is near Botswana’s Chobe National Park and many of the safari experiences are organised around activities in or near here. Each suite has a boat and guide to give you choice, flexibility and privacy.
The Lodge offers personalized service and superb dining to boot.
Floating walkways link a cluster of islands within the Mambova rapids where two mighty African rivers – the Zambezi and Chobe converge. White sands and palm trees add to the romance – perfect for honeymooners.
Namibia has a huge mix of ethnic tribes, the biggest diversity of which is found in this region. Sharing borders with four other countries has resulted in fascinating mixture of people, and it’s a delight to explore the towns and villages, seeing the handicrafts that each has become known for.
