This 18th century baroque mansion was originally the home of a high ranking general. Set just back from the old town, the stone clad exterior houses a lovingly restored property, with beautifully restored rooms that have exposed brickwork and cosy beds. The style is traditional but not old fashioned.
Bay of Kotor
The stunning bay here is formed by Europe’s most southernmost fjord, and the surrounding panorama is probably the most popular attraction on Montenegro. The bay is home to several well-preserved medieval towns, and it’s easy to tour them. Look out for the ancient churches and monasteries.
