The 460 guest rooms are breezy yet refined: the resort welcomes you with a lobby of native artwork, koa wood panels, and a lava stone bar. Kukui tree-patterned rugs cover dark Brazilian ironwood floors, and wrought-iron lanais look out on the island landscape. Rooms come with bathrooms that are amazing.

There is an indoor-outdoor spa to indulge in.
Families are welcome and for a break from them, drop the kids off at Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Ambassadors of the Environment program.
