This is Taj’s 3rd tier of hotel brands, but this is a lovely hotel, set amid 6 acres of gardens, with superb views of the Taj Mahal from rooms on the 3rd floor and above, and a breath-taking ‘skylounge’ where you can dine on the rooftop looking out onto the Taj Mahal a couple of miles away.
The 100 rooms are a good size, and have Mughal themed touches, so you do have the feeling of being in a special place.
Free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, mini-bars and tea and coffee making facilities feature in all the rooms. The five suites are stylish with separate sitting areas.
Dining options include a 24-hour coffee shop and a casual restaurant with live music. There’s also a lounge/bar offering cocktails and live entertainment.
Other amenities consist of a fresh water pool, a decent fitness center and sports courts. There is an excellent spa offering authentic and traditional Indian wellness treatments.
