This consists of two properties in very different but equally stunning settings: the rugged beauty of the west coast and the heart of the southern Alps (both on the South Island).
Both are suitably stylish and show off the best of the surrounding panorama. Expert guides are on hand to take guests on hikes and nature trails.
The lodges have been part of the Nature Heritage Fund since its inception in 1990. The goal of this Fund has been to work towards securing a full range of representative eco-systems that occur on private land and add them to the public Conservation estate.
West Coast Glaciers
The west coast of the South Island is home to a UNESCO World Heritage Area, some of which is the stunning Glacier Country. Twin rivers of ice form the beautiful Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers, and at points you can see an awesome mirrored reflection of the Southern Alps.
