Help the homeless
You get to provide hot, healthy meals, served to guests’ tables in a bright, airy space that feels more like a neighborhood café than a traditional soup kitchen. Meals are served every day from 12:30-3:30 pm in an inspiring, fast-paced atmosphere.
You can play your part in feeding an average of 450 guests per day. You get to do many of the tasks that you would do at a restaurant, apart from any cooking. Designed to resemble a café, dining room guests are greeted at the door by a hostess, seated at small tables decorated with seasonal centerpieces and tablecloths, and their meals are served by you. Working together, staff & volunteers ensure that while they are in the cafe, guests are provided with a dignified environment and treated with respect.
