You can make a difference at a rescue center for injured, orphaned or illegally traded animals. You can help provide these animals with a better life and at the same time discover the importance of preserving the natural biodiversity of this stunning country for future generations. The panoramic view from this 53-suite hotel involves the small matter of the hulking Arenal Volcano and the Arenal Park. The smoking crater of Arenal volcano sits almost 5,500ft above the lush green valley and surrounding forest. The region is a wonderland for adventure and activities, with almost everything possible. Rainforest hikes, white-water rafting and horseback riding are just a few of the immediate options. Nature tours show off the best of the local wildlife and there are natural hot springs to ease into at the day’s end.
