14 Days This adventure enables you and your family to not only explore Kathmandu, still one of the world's most fascinating cities, take a scenic flight over Mt Everest, and hike through sublime scenery; you also get to interact with the Nepalese people and leave a legacy by helping rebuild houses in a remote part of Nepal that was badly affected by the earthquake. In Kathmandu and Pokhara, you will stay in the best available hotels; outside of these places you will be camping in simple guesthouses and tents, with porters to carry your luggage. You will get to experience Nepalese hospitality at its best. Highlights
  • Leave a legacy and help the Nepalese people get back on their feet by rebuilding houses in the remote Gorkha region

Day by Day Outline
    Day 1 Arrive Kathmandu, met at airport and be transfered to Dwarika's Hotel
    Day 2 Private guided tour of Kathmandu and scenic flight to Mt Everest
    Day 3 Be driven to the village in Gorkha Region, stay in tents
    Day 4-7 Rebuilding houses for devastated families
    Day 8 Be driven to Pokhara, stay at Tiger Mountain Hotel
    Day 9 Trek to Ulleri (4 hours), stay in a guesthouse
    Day 10 Trek to Ghorepani through forests of fine oaks and rhododendrons (5 hours), stay in a guesthouse
    Day 11 Hike up Poon Hill for sunrise, trek to Ghandruk (8 hours), stay in a guesthouse
    Day 12 Trek to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara (5 hours), stay at Tiger Mountain Hotel
    Day 13 Drive to Kathmandu, special farewell dinner, stay at Dwarika's Hotel
    Day 14 Time at leisure for shopping/relaxation, transfer to airport and fly out

    $4,875 (£3,940, €4,623) per person, based on a minimum of two people traveling, twin share

  • Best available luxury hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhara, camping whilst volunteering, guesthouses whilst trekking

  • Visas - these are granted on arrival for most nationalities, for $40
