Chinzombo seamlessly blends modern elegance with the timeless charm of a traditional bush safari experience, utilizing natural building materials and vintage touches.

Nestled beneath the ancient msikizi (Chinzombo) trees, the camp boasts six spacious luxury safari tents, including a family tent with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Each tent features a private pool and soaking tub, offering panoramic views of the river and its diverse wildlife.

The award-winning design of the luxury tents combines canvas, timber, and reed, complemented by flairs of leather and raw linen. Families can relax on the shaded verandah, indulging in afternoon idleness or in-room spa treatments.

A winding path leads to the main lodge, where you can unwind on the riverfront sun deck, peruse books from the open-air library, or dine under the stars on fresh produce cultivated on-site. Gather around the elevated fire pit overlooking the riverbank to socialize and swap stories about your day’s adventures.

Situated in one of the most wildlife-rich areas of South Luangwa National Park, Chinzombo offers a multitude of activities led by experienced guides. You can embark on game drives, safari walks, or seasonal boat cruises across the river to witness thrilling encounters with lions, leopards, and other predators.
